Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Community, Celebration & Giving
Every December, the Hermosa Beach community comes together to celebrate the holiday season while making a real impact. 220 Riverlife, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, proudly hosts the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive — a beloved local tradition that blends festive fun with heartfelt giving.
Participants are invited to dress up in their holiday best, visit our favorite neighborhood bars, and bring unwrapped toys to support local children and families in need. Together, we turn good times into meaningful change.

Our Mission
220 Riverlife is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading joy, building community, and giving back through festive events and meaningful local partnerships. What started as a friendly holiday pub crawl has grown into a cherished community tradition that brings people together and supports hundreds of families during the holiday season.
Why We Do It
We believe joy, community, and compassion are powerful forces for good. By blending celebration with purpose, we strengthen the bonds within the Hermosa Beach community and provide direct support to families through our annual toy drive in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Police Department. Together, we turn holiday cheer into real impact.
🎅 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl
Get ready to jingle all the way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue for a night of festive fun with a purpose! Hosted by 220 Riverlife, this beloved community tradition brings people together to celebrate the holidays and give back to local families in need.
Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
Cost: Free to participate — just bring a new, unwrapped toy 🎁
What to Wear: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies… get festive and creative!
Where It Goes: All toy donations benefit the Hermosa Beach Police Department Toy Drive.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
